  Romanian Adoption Committee is organized and functions as a specialized organism in the subordination of the Government, in order to survey and support the actions aimed to protect the rights of children through adoption and the achievement of international cooperation in this field.

Additionally, we are motivated to assistcouples and singles who want to bring a child into their lives. Ourexperience has shown that adoption from Romania is a very rewardingexperience and takes place in a short amount of time relative to adoptionprocesses in general. We have watched the adopted children grow up anddevelop beautifully in loving American families. The youngest childrenarriving from Romania through our program are between six months and threeyears old; applicants who qualify for our program and for a young child needto be open to accepting a child in this age range."
