Hancock County Library System The Hancock County Library System's mission is to provide the people of Hancock County and its communities with the right information, in the right form, at the right time, while ensuring the most cost effective use of its resources, and acting as a conduit to and from other information sources and services.
Laurel-Jones County Library The Laurel-Jones County Library System is a city-county system that serves a population of 63,477. There are three branches. Currently the library has approximately 101,000 bound volumes, 1,200 audios, 2,000 videos, materials in electronic format, and periodicals.

The Library Commission shall, upon request, give advice to all school, public and other libraries and to all communities which may propose to establish them, as to the best means of establishing and maintaining such libraries, the selection of books, cataloging and other details of library management.
