  • Civic Orchestra of Tucson
    COT is a 60-piece volunteer orchestra starting its 23rd season. This group. the only in the Tucson area to continue the tradition of bringing free symphonic concerts to all the people, has outreach, especially to youth, as its goal. Programs are under way to actively fulfill this mission. Located in Arizona.

  • Metropolitan Youth Symphony - Arizona
    Metropolitan Youth Symphony was organized in 1982 to provide a challenging program of excellence in orchestral music for young musicians.   • Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra
    Since 1979, the award-winning Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra has been dedicated to making good music for the enjoyment of our musicians and our audiences. Along the way we've explored a rich diversity of classic symphonic works, introduced new composers and premiered new works. Several performances have been broadcast on KUAT-FM radio. And we've toured throughout Southern Arizona.

  • The Phoenix Symphony
    Arizona’s only full-time, professional symphony orchestra and the state’s largest performing arts group began 52 years ago as a part-time orchestra performing four concerts per season in the auditorium of Phoenix Union High School. Today, the 75-member orchestra has Symphony Hall to call home, and performs more than 160 concerts throughout the state from September through May.

  • Tucson Junior Strings
    Tucson Junior Strings (TJS), celebrating its 31st anniversary, is an orchestral training program for young string players. Participants must have one year of experience and are then accepted through their high school years. TJS, under the direction of Mr. [Dennis Bourret], is a group of six orchestras that range in expertise from the recent beginner to the semi-professional, playing in a chamber music style. Located in Arizona.

  • Tuscon Philharmonica Youth Orchestra
    The Philharmonia Orchestra of Tucson (TPYO) is a full symphonic youth orchestra serving the greater Tucson metropolitan area and outlying communities. This season’s orchestra includes 107 of Southern Arizona's finest young musicians from twenty High Schools, eight Middle Schools, and Pima Community College.
