  The Eastern Pittsburgh Youth Orchestra was formed to provide an additional outlet for young performers in western Pennsylvania. • Young People's Philharmonic of the Lehigh Valley
  The Young People's Philharmonic of the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania is a performing educational organization. It provides an opportunity for capable young musicians in the Lehigh Valley area to come together regularly to study and perform major symphonic literature. This year the Young People's Philharmonic is comprised of two orchestras: a senior orchestra of approximately 95 high school students forming a full, balanced symphony orchestra and a junior string orchestra of approximately 60 students in grades five through nine.
