Kansas/Kansas City: St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf St. Joseph's of Kansas City provides early intervention for parents and children up to age three and a preschool program. It serves children from birth through age six who possess any degree of hearing loss. For children with cochlear implants of all ages, specialized speech, language and educational therapy is also provided. Enrollment is open to children in Missouri, Kansas, and surrounding states without regard to race, religion, gender or financial means.
