M issouri-Blades School
Blades School is located in the heart of South St. Louis County. When the building was built in 1972, it was dedicated to Superintendent Tom Blades and housed under 400 students. By 1990, the school's enrollment had grown to 700, and an addition was constructed to handle the extra students. Blades was built on acreage that allows for a very large playground, a softball field and a blacktop play area.

Originally built in 1954 with seven classrooms, Bernard now has 26 classrooms and several rooms for specialized instruction. At one time the school had an enrollment of more than 1,200. Texas-L.F. Blanton Elementary School
Our goals for the year include not only higher overall test scores for all students, but a higher proficiency level for our kids that pass tests but not with academic recognition. We are developing a school wide problem solving approach so students are not learning different strategies year after year.

Utah-Belknap Elementary
Belknap Elementary, a red-brick, two story building, containing nine classrooms, was first built in 1909. A two-story addition was added to the south of it in 1938, and later the first building was torn down. In about 1964, a single floor building, running east and west, was built on the south side of the first addition. For the 1996/97 school year Belknap had an average of 419 students in attendance. There were three sections of kindergarten, first grade, second grade, fourth grade, and sixth grade; and two each of third, and fifth. We are located in rural Eastern Utah, in Uintah County. We are part of the Uintah School District. There are currently 306 students enrolled in Lapoint Elementary. (April 1997) Of that 306, 126 students are native americans which adds a culture diversity that makes learning unique and interesting.

Vermont-Fisher Elementary School
