For minor cuts, wash with soap and water and cover with dressing. If a cut may need stitches, seek medical care as soon as possible. Scrapes: Wash scrape with soap and water. Cover with a nonstick dressing. Splinters: Wash with soap and water. Do not soak splinter. Remove small splinters with tweezers. If not easily removed, call your doctor. Puncture Wounds: Do NOT remove large objects such as knives or sticks. Call your doctor. For minor puncture wounds, wash with soap and water and call your doctor.
